The fragrance's story and background

Created by perfumer Guy Robert in 1961, Calèche was Hermès' first fragrance for women. In 1992, it was reinterpreted to become Calèche Soie de Parfum, a composition named in reference to the House's emblematic carriage and the silk craft. The bottle, inspired by the lanterns of the carriages of yesteryear, is topped with a black cap, echoing the horsemen's bombshell. The label on the back, illustrated with a drawing by Philippe Dumas, is a distinctive sign that it belongs to the Parfums-Fondateurs collection.

Top notes:
