The fragrance's background 

Conceived by Serge Lutens as a collection of iconic fragrances, the design of Gratte-ciel evokes the aesthetics of the New York skyline in the 20s and 30s. Perfected in lacquered black, with edges as sharp as the tip of a Chrysler Building, this iconic bottle draws its influences from Art Deco to embody a new modernity, symbolising the avant-garde of a style at its peak.

Top notes :

Cabbage Leaf, Galbanum, Tolu Balsam The opening of the fragrance is marked by green and resinous notes. Cabbage leaf and galbanum bring an unusual freshness, while tolu balsam adds a sweet, resinous note.

Cocoa, Tonka Bean, Iris The heart of the fragrance reveals gourmand notes of cocoa and tonka bean, creating a warm, suave sensation. Iris adds a powdery, elegant dimension.
