The talented perfumer, Jean Jacques, has created a veritable explosion of captivating spices from the very first notes. Black pepper, with its fresh, pungent woody accord, immediately reveals its bold energy. To further intensify this spicy experience, Jean Jacques has harmoniously combined it with a blend of warm spices, including leathery saffron and cumin, as well as fresh spices such as coriander seeds and nutmeg.

This aromatic, woody composition is balanced by the essence of elemi, a resin native to the Philippines, which creates a perfect transition between this spicy opening and the woody incense that envelops the fragrance in its mysterious trail. Dark labdanum, a warm amber resin, blends harmoniously with woody, smoky patchouli and modern woody notes.

‘Poivre Sacré’ lives up to its name, evoking memories of the deep origins of perfumery, while leaving a warm, powerful imprint that recalls the bewitching fragrances of the oriental treasures of the precious oud.
