The fragrance's story and background 

Created in 2019 by Hermès perfumer Christine Nagel, Un Jardin sur la Lagune eau de toilette reveals a secret garden where nature has braved the test of time, hidden in the heart of fascinating Venice, a city of a thousand contrasts. The bottle, designed by Fred Rawyler, draws its inspiration from the lines of vintage car lanterns. The glass of the bottle is sublimated by a delicate Venetian ochre gradation, in homage to the walls that surround this garden. Last but not least, artist Safet Zec's touches of color bring lush nature, as seen from the waters of the lagoon, to the fragrance box.
