A floral, amber, semi-oriental eau de toilette that expresses assertive, sensual femininity.

The fragrance's story and background

Conceived by perfumer Akiko Kamei in 1984, Parfum d'Hermès was reinterpreted in 2000 as Rouge Hermès. This eau de toilette celebrates one of the House's emblematic colors since 1934.

The bottle, inspired by the lanterns of the carriages of yesteryear, is topped with a black cap, echoing the horsemen's bombshell. The label on the back, illustrated with a drawing by Philippe Dumas, is a distinctive sign that it belongs to the Parfums-Fondateurs collection.

Here's the olfactory description of Rouge d'Hermès

The top notes open with a delicate floral bouquet, where iris, ylang-ylang and rose mingle in fragrant harmony. This first impression is both sweet and bewitching.

At the heart of the fragrance, notes of sandalwood, amber, vanilla and cedar blend in a warm, sensual symphony. Sandalwood adds a creamy touch, amber and vanilla a sweet depth, while cedar adds a subtle woody note.

Finally, base notes of spice and myrtle add a mysterious, intriguing dimension to the whole. Spices bring a light intensity, while myrtle evokes Mediterranean landscapes.

Subtlety of the fragrance

Rouge Hermès" is a sophisticated, captivating fragrance full of character, ideal for those seeking a floral scent with woody, spicy notes that evoke timeless elegance.
