The fragrance's story and background 

Conceived by perfumer Akiko Kamei in 1984, Parfum d'Hermès was reinterpreted in 2000 as Rouge Hermès. This eau de toilette celebrates one of the House's emblematic colors since 1934.

The bottle, inspired by the lanterns of the carriages of yesteryear, is topped with a black cap, echoing the horsemen's bombshell. The label on the back, illustrated with a drawing by Philippe Dumas, is a distinctive sign that it belongs to the Parfums-Fondateurs collection.
